Terms of Service & Disclaimer

MVP Disclaimer — Early Access Platform

Reveal Estate is currently in its Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage and is under active development. Features, data feeds, scoring models, reports, and all platform functionality may change, break, become temporarily unavailable, or be removed entirely at any time without prior notice. Data accuracy, availability, and completeness are not guaranteed during this stage. The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. By using Reveal Estate during this early stage, you acknowledge and accept these inherent limitations.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a report, accessing, or using Reveal Estate ("the Platform" or "the Service"), you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Disclaimer ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Reveal Estate.

2. No Professional Advice

The information provided on Reveal Estate is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional real estate, legal, financial, investment, appraisal, tax, or any other form of professional advice. You should not rely solely on any data, analysis, scores, reports, or information provided by the Platform to make real estate, financial, or investment decisions.

Always consult with qualified professionals — including licensed real estate agents, attorneys, appraisers, home inspectors, title companies, and financial advisors — before making any real estate transaction, purchase, sale, or investment decision. Reveal Estate is not a licensed real estate brokerage, appraisal firm, or financial advisory service.

3. Data Accuracy & Limitations

Reveal Estate aggregates data from various public records, government databases, and third-party sources. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Data may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or contain errors. No data on the Platform should be treated as verified or authoritative.
  • Property data, zoning information, ownership records, tax assessments, permit history, and all other data points are subject to change at any time and may not reflect current conditions.
  • AI-generated analyses, opportunity scores, and algorithmic assessments are computational estimates only. They are not appraisals, valuations, or professional opinions of value and should not be treated as such.
  • Crime statistics, school information, neighborhood data, and environmental information are sourced from third parties and may not be current, complete, or comprehensive.
  • Title information, lien data, and ownership records displayed on the Platform are sourced from public records and do not constitute a title search or title opinion. Always obtain a professional title search from a licensed title company before any real estate transaction.
  • HouseFax reports compile data from multiple sources and are informational summaries only, not professional inspections, appraisals, or certifications.
  • We make no guarantees whatsoever regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose of any data presented on the Platform.

4. HouseFax Reports & Purchased Content

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • HouseFax reports are informational compilations of publicly available data, not professional inspections, appraisals, surveys, or certifications.
  • Reports reflect data available at the time of generation and may become outdated immediately. Reveal Estate has no obligation to update previously generated reports.
  • No refunds will be issued for reports that have been generated or credits that have been consumed, regardless of the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the report content.
  • Reports should never be used as a substitute for a professional home inspection, appraisal, title search, survey, or any other professional assessment required for a real estate transaction.
  • You may not redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit reports without express written permission from Reveal Estate.

5. Assumption of Risk

YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM AND ANY RELIANCE ON DATA, REPORTS, SCORES, ANALYSES, OR OTHER INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE PLATFORM IS AT YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE RISK. YOU ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL DECISIONS AND ACTIONS TAKEN BASED ON INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THE PLATFORM. REVEAL ESTATE SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR THE CONSEQUENCES OF ANY SUCH DECISIONS OR ACTIONS.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REVEAL ESTATE AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, SUPPLIERS, AND AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY, "REVEAL ESTATE PARTIES") SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO:

  • YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.
  • ANY DECISIONS MADE OR ACTIONS TAKEN BASED ON DATA, REPORTS, SCORES, OR ANALYSES OBTAINED THROUGH THE PLATFORM.
  • ERRORS, INACCURACIES, OR OMISSIONS IN THE DATA, CONTENT, OR REPORTS.
  • ANY REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS, PURCHASES, SALES, INVESTMENTS, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES RESULTING FROM USE OF THE PLATFORM.
  • ANY PROPERTY DEFECTS, TITLE ISSUES, LIENS, ENCUMBRANCES, OR OTHER PROBLEMS NOT IDENTIFIED OR INCORRECTLY REPORTED BY THE PLATFORM.
  • SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, DOWNTIME, DATA LOSS, OR TECHNICAL ISSUES.
  • UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT OR DATA.
  • ANY THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF PLATFORM DATA.

YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE REVEAL ESTATE PARTIES EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO REVEAL ESTATE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00), WHICHEVER IS LESS.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM AND ALL DATA, CONTENT, REPORTS, SCORES, ANALYSES, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, OR AVAILABILITY. REVEAL ESTATE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. REVEAL ESTATE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ANY DATA OR INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE, CURRENT, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED FROM REVEAL ESTATE SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS.

8. User Responsibilities

By using the Platform, you agree to:

  • Independently verify all property data, ownership information, zoning details, title records, and any other information before relying on it for any purpose.
  • Obtain professional inspections, appraisals, title searches, and other professional assessments before making any real estate transaction.
  • Not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Not scrape, crawl, or use any automated means, bots, or scripts to extract, harvest, or collect data from the Platform.
  • Not redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit Platform data or reports without express written permission.
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Accept that the Platform is in an MVP stage and may contain bugs, errors, incomplete features, or inaccurate data.
  • Not use any data from the Platform to engage in housing discrimination or any practice that violates fair housing laws.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Reveal Estate Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, suits, proceedings, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees, court costs, and settlement amounts) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Platform or any data, reports, or information obtained therefrom.
  • Any decisions made or actions taken by you based in whole or in part on Platform data.
  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
  • Any claims by third parties arising from your use of the Platform or Platform data.
  • Your real estate transactions, investments, or other activities informed by Platform data.

This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of your account and these Terms.

10. Pricing, Payments & Refunds

  • Reveal Estate reserves the right to change pricing, fees, and subscription terms at any time with or without notice.
  • No refunds will be issued for reports that have been generated, credits consumed, or subscription periods that have begun.
  • Subscription plans may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds will be issued.
  • Free tier benefits (including complimentary reports) may be modified or discontinued at any time.
  • Payment processing is handled by third-party providers. Reveal Estate is not responsible for payment processing errors by third parties.

11. Account Termination

Reveal Estate reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason or no reason, at its sole discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of any provision of these Terms.
  • Fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or unlawful activity.
  • Non-payment of fees or charges.
  • Misuse of the Platform, including excessive or abusive use.
  • Any conduct that Reveal Estate, in its sole judgment, deems harmful to the Platform, other users, or third parties.

In the event of termination, no refund of any fees or charges will be issued. Reveal Estate shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, algorithms, scoring models, reports, branding, trademarks, and other materials on the Platform are the exclusive property of Castor & Pollux LLC and its licensors, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws including copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws. All Rights Reserved.

"Reveal Estate," "HouseFax," and all related logos, product names, and service names are trademarks of Castor & Pollux LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform or its content without express written permission from Castor & Pollux LLC. Your use of the Platform does not grant you any ownership rights in any content, data, or materials.

13. Privacy & Data Collection

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that Reveal Estate may collect, store, and process information about your use of the Platform, including but not limited to account information, search queries, and usage patterns. We use this data to operate and improve the Platform. We will not sell your personal information to third parties. However, we may share anonymized or aggregated data for analytical purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for maintaining the security of your account.

14. Third-Party Services & Links

The Platform may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, services, or content. Reveal Estate does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content or services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the terms and policies of those third parties. This includes but is not limited to payment processing services, mapping services, and public records databases.

15. Limitation on Time to File Claims

ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM MUST BE COMMENCED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES. OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM IS PERMANENTLY BARRED. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE.

16. Changes to Terms

Reveal Estate reserves the right to modify, amend, or replace these Terms at any time and at its sole discretion. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. It is your responsibility to review these Terms regularly. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes are posted constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, your sole remedy is to cease using the Platform and close your account.

17. Changes to the Platform

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, reports, or account information.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue in such courts.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalidity of any provision shall not affect the validity of any other provision of these Terms.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any applicable Broker Terms of Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Reveal Estate regarding the use of the Platform. These Terms supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and representations, whether oral or written, with respect to the Platform. No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such provision or any other provision.
